Social Model of Disability Video Series

Cultural Perspectives has worked with Diversity and Disability Alliance in the development of a new video series exploring the social model of disability framework.

The social model of disability is an important framework to consider and utilise when responding to disability issues in culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

The co-designed video series highlights the importance of the social model of disability framework through the lived experiences of Youssif, Yasamen, Nidhi, Nyrob, Jonathan and Elena.

Cultural Perspectives held a launch on 7th June 2023 at the Australian National Maritime Museum with community, sector, and government representatives. The launch was used to showcase the video series, VR experience and MiAccess website.
