About the NDIS
The NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) is a funding scheme for disability support services. The NDIS covers the age cohort of 7 to 65 years.
For children under the age of seven, the early childhood early intervention (ECEI) program is available which also is funded through the NDIS.
It is important that all people with disability, their carers, and the wider community understand what the NDIS is, what it funds and provides, who is eligible, and how to access the insurance scheme.
This site brings together information about the NDIS and its access.
